Vitamin

Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin)

Critical for red blood cell production, nerve health, DNA synthesis, and sustained energy.

What It Is

Methylcobalamin is the bioactive form of B12, essential for the synthesis of myelin (the nerve sheath) and for converting homocysteine to methionine. Deficiency is surprisingly common, especially in people following plant-based diets, those over 50, or individuals on long-term antacid medication. IV delivery bypasses any absorption issues in the gut.

What It Does

  • Prevents megaloblastic anaemia
  • Supports neurological health
  • Boosts energy and reduces fatigue
  • Improves mood and cognitive function
  • Essential for DNA synthesis

Clinical Considerations

Extremely safe. No established upper limit for IV B12. Rare hypersensitivity reactions are possible — a clinical screening is standard before treatment.
