Mineral

Zinc

A trace mineral essential for immune defence, wound healing, hormone production, and skin integrity.

What It Is

Zinc is involved in more than 300 enzymatic and structural protein functions. It is particularly important for the development and function of immune cells, the synthesis of testosterone and other hormones, and the structural integrity of skin and connective tissue. Zinc deficiency is linked to impaired immune response, poor wound healing, and reduced taste and smell.

What It Does

  • Strengthens immune defences
  • Speeds wound healing
  • Supports testosterone and hormonal balance
  • Promotes clear, healthy skin
  • Protects against viral infections

Clinical Considerations

Well tolerated at therapeutic IV doses. Excessive zinc can interfere with copper absorption over time. All doses are calibrated clinically.
